When you log in or use the customer portal, we may combine your personal information with non-personal information, such as your past orders, to provide you with a profile of your ordering history and for marketing and other purposes. We may also combine personal information we collect from you through Aramark's websites with information we collect through other sources such as, through phone orders offline or from email lists purchased from third parties. The combined information will be treated in accordance with this Privacy Policy for so long as it is so combined. We may also aggregate personal information in a manner such that the end-product does not personally identify you or any other visitor to Aramark's websites, for example, by using personal information to calculate the percentage of our visitors who have a particular telephone area code.
We may produce and mail offers, coupons and information, including catalogs, to visitors to Aramark's websites. We may also use lists we have received from third parties or public sources to send you this information. Aramark may conduct sweepstakes, contests and promotions, which ask visitors for personal information, such as contact information (name, email address, mailing address, etc.). Participation is optional. If you choose to enter a sweepstake, contest or other promotion on a Website or through other means where this Privacy Policy is referenced, we may disclose your personal information to third parties in connection with the administration of such promotion, including in connection with winner selection, prize fulfillment, and as required by law, such as on a winners list. Aramark may offer chat rooms, forums, message or bulletin boards, product rating and review areas, or interactive areas on Aramark's websites where visitors may post comments or information for our visitors' benefit. Aramark may offer an affiliate program for qualified third-party websites. Participation by a third-party affiliate in Aramark's program is optional. Personal information in any application information from the third-party for its website's participation in the affiliate program will be used by Aramark to determine eligibility of such website in any Aramark affiliate program and as otherwise permitted under this Privacy Policy. Account information of approved third-party affiliates will be maintained by Aramark for the purposes of communication between Aramark and the affiliates and for use as otherwise permitted under this Privacy Policy.

Aramark or any of its assets, including Aramark's websites, may be sold, or other transactions may occur in which your personal information is one of the key business assets for the transaction. In such a case, your personal information may be one of the business assets we transfer. If Aramark provides any links to websites owned by third parties or Aramark affiliates on Aramark's websites, these sites will operate independently from Aramark's websites. We will not be and are not responsible or liable for any content or information collection practices of those pages or for such websites' use of any personal information you provide to them, and we expressly disclaim any liability or responsibility for the policies relating to privacy and information collection and usage on any of such linked websites. We may use service providers to serve advertisements to you when you are on third-party websites and in emails, based on your activity while you are on our websites and other information collected from and about you. For example, if you showed interest in a particular style of uniform, we may serve an advertisement for that style to you after you leave our websites. In the course of serving our advertisements, our service providers may place or recognize a unique cookie on your browser or utilize similar technologies to help identify you. We give you many choices regarding our use and disclosure of your personal information for marketing purposes. Aramark offers you the ability to correct your personal information. With respect to general accounts on Aramark's websites (excluding customer specific "micro" sites), you are able to review and edit your account information from the website at any time. If you have already registered with us on the shop.aramarkuniform.com website for a general account (excluding customer specific "micro" sites), please click on My Account on the website's homepage to view or update your personal information. Otherwise, if you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or wish to update or remove your personal information or restrict how we use your information, please email privacy@aramark.com. While Aramark makes efforts to accommodate requests to restrict our use of your information, we reserve the right to delete customer information if we cannot reasonably accommodate a requested restriction. Personal information that we collect, access or process will be retained only as long as necessary for the fulfilment of the purposes for which it was collected, unless otherwise provided in agreements between you and Aramark or as required or authorized by law. Personal information that is no longer required to fulfill the identified purposes will be destroyed, erased or made de-identified.
Aramark takes commercially reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide. Aramark maintains reasonable physical, electronic, and administrative safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized or inappropriate access, including through the use of Secure Socket Layer (SSL) security software. SSL is the industry standard security protocol, which makes it difficult for anyone else to intercept the personal information in the credit card / transaction and order information that you send us when you submit your online order. Otherwise, the transmission of information to and from us may not be encrypted or secure. Our systems and processes are designed to restrict access to information about you to those individuals who need to know the information to respond to your inquiry or request or as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy.

Aramark's websites are not intended for children under thirteen (13) years of age. Aramark does not target its websites or any of its services or products to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under thirteen (13) years of age; Aramark's websites are entirely aimed at adults. If Aramark learns that a child under the age of thirteen (13) has submitted personal information on Aramark's websites without parental consent, Aramark will take all reasonable measures to delete such information from our databases and to not use such information for any purpose (except where necessary to protect the safety of the child or others as required or allowed by law). When you exercise these rights and submit a request to us, we may ask for additional information from you to verify your identity and to protect your privacy. Aramark also may use a third party verification provider to verify your identity. Aramark will endeavor to honor such requests unless such a request conflicts with certain lawful exemptions under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018. Please note that Aramark is only required to honor such requests twice in a 12-month period.
The fact that you have elected to exercise these rights will have no adverse effect on the price and quality of our products or services.
As set forth above, California law requires us to identify, for the 12-month period prior to the date of this Privacy Policy, what information Aramark has "sold" about you. Please be assured that Aramark does not sell or rent your information to third parties purely for our profit, to data brokers, or in any way other than those intended to improve your online experiences and the relevance of offers made to you through Aramark's websites and elsewhere. Instead, there are instances where Aramark has shared personal information in order to provide our customers with personalized services or customized offers to improve your online experiences through our services or elsewhere. We do this in ways that are intended to extend the Aramark experience to our customers in a variety of environments. - Commercial information, including records of products or services purchased, obtained, or considered, and other purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies;
- Internet and other electronic network activity information, including, but not limited to, browsing history, search history, and information regarding your interaction with Aramark's websites, applications or advertisements; and
- Inferences drawn from any of the information identified above to create a profile about you reflecting your preferences, characteristics, psychological trends, predispositions, behavior, attitudes, intelligence, abilities, and aptitudes.
Aramark may require proof of California residence before responding to any request made under this section. You may authorize another person (your "agent") to submit a request on your behalf the same way on our website. Shortly after you (or your agent) submit a request, we will contact you (via email at the email address provided during submission of your request) with instructions on how to verify the request before we fulfill it. We may ask for additional information from you to verify your identity and to protect your privacy. We will aim to complete your requests as soon as reasonably practicable and consistent with any applicable laws.
Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83 (the Shine The Light law), customers who are California residents and have a relationship with Aramark primarily for personal, family, or household purposes are entitled to receive, upon request and free of charge, information about the personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes in the prior calendar year. This information may be requested once a year. If applicable, this information will include a list of the categories of personal information that was shared and the names and addresses of the third parties that received the information.
